Engineering-Driven Leader & Entrepreneur
Born in Istanbul in 1987.I hold a Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Yildiz Technical University and a Master Degree in Executive MBA from Istanbul University. I am currently pursuing a second graduate study on Urban Maritime Transportation within the Urban Systems and Transportation Management Program at Istanbul Commerce University.During my academic and professional journey, I have presented papers on the sustainability of maritime transportation at international symposiums and contributed to studies on the modernization of urban maritime systems.I began my professional career during my university years with experience in tourism (2005 to 2010) and aviation (2010 to 2015). I joined Istanbul Sehir Hatlari in 2016 as an Engineer. After serving as Shipyard Inspector and Shipyard Manager, I was appointed Technical Deputy General Manager (CTO) in 2025.I have managed the maintenance and repair of more than 500 vessels, the restoration of historic ferries, and the construction of more than 60 vessels. As of 2025, I am leading the construction of four steel service vessels, one 50 meter fully electric special passenger vessel, and one hybrid vehicle ferry. My work focuses on sustainable and next generation maritime operations in Istanbul.Alongside my professional role, I am also an entrepreneur who believes in lifelong learning and actively develops new business ideas in parallel with my maritime career.
